The Polaris Mar Menor Golf Resort
The Mar Menor Golf Resort with villas to rent is the first Polaris development located in Torre Pacheco, Murcia, Spain, near the Mar Menor beach, part of the Costa Calida. The Resort covers an area of 700,000 square metres. Designed by EDSA, the American leader responsible for some of the most renowned tourist complexes worldwide, the Polaris Mar Menor Resort offers largely traditional Spanish Villas with pretty landscaping and a tranquil environment. The 9-hole Dave Thomas signature golf course provides a lush green setting all year round. This is however going to be extended to an 18 Hole Course with the release of Mar Menor II. There is also a driving range and putting green on site as well as a pro golf shop. Prepare yourself for a crowd-free game of golf only a short walk from your villa. In the town centre of The Polaris Mar Menor Golf Resort you will find a luxury 5 star hotel complex with front line views of the golf course. The luxurious 60-room Intercontinetal Hotel is the focal point of the Polaris Mar Menor Town Centre, which includes, bars, restaurants, shops, supermarket, swimming pools, tennis courts, gym & spa facilities. There is also a social centre with a large swimming pool and kids pool. Here they provide entertainment most nights. The Polaris Mar Menor resort definitely has a relaxed feel to it, whilst providing everything you need for an enjoyable holiday.

The holiday villas
All homes in the Polaris Mar Menor resort are villas although in the future there will also be apartments available. The homes very between 2 and 4 bedrooms and there are differences in the seize of the private garden. Some of the smaller ones include a nice roof terrace. all villas are just a short distance away from the golfcourse.

The area
The resort is located in Torrepacheco in the Murcia Region of South East Spain & 10 minutes from the Mar Menor and the beaches and marinas of Los Alcazares, Santiago de la Rivera and Cabo de Palos at the entrance of the strip of La Manga. Inland you will find the capital of Murcia at about half an hour drive and the city of Cartagena. to the South at even less. The nearest village is Torre Pacheco just a few kilometres down the road. Access to the Polaris Mar Menor Golf Resort
The nearest airport is San Javier, Murcia at some 7 miles from the resort. An ever growing number of budget airlines fly daily to this airport or alternatively to Alicante airport, El Altet,which is a little over one hour away. At each of these airports you can hire a car, take a taxi or arrange for picking up. Getting to the Polaris Mar Menor Resort is quite simple. Just take the exit for Torre Pacheco from the AP7 Alicante – Cartagena, in front of Los Alcazares and you will find The Mar Menor Resort on your right hand side after a few miles. You will find the AP7 nearly in front of the airport. Direction Cartagena.
